**About the Role**
As we are on a transformation journey to become ‘One James Fisher’, we are looking for a Communications Superstar to join us and assist with the delivery of our exciting ambition.
You will be passionate about communications and will be responsible for supporting the development and delivery of the Group’s communications activities in alignment with our new strategy, working in close partnership with our Communications and Marketing Team, internal stakeholders including function leads and external agencies.

You’ll be based in our Knutsford office, and we offer hybrid working. There might be some travel involved as well, but not much.
**Your Responsibilities**
- Play a key role in the implementation of our new brand portfolio strategy, helping to bring to life the Group’s new identity and culture through relevant and engaging channels and methods.
- Establish and nurture relationships with primary internal stakeholders including our function leads (HR, IT etc.) to support the development and delivery of our aligned and proactive internal communications strategy with a clear focus on employee reach and engagement:
- Take a lead role in creatively delivering our ongoing ‘Exceptional Safety’ campaign to maximise engagement.
- Actively help shape and deliver our sustainability communications programme to reach and inspire all relevant stakeholders.
- Build and share a pipeline of stories from across the Group focused on championing our people and their successes, our innovations, partnerships and more.
- Work closely with our Group Corporate Communications and Marketing Teams to understand our business, markets and customers.
- Actively supporting the monitoring and measurement of our internal communications activity, to demonstrate impact and ROI.
- Work closely alongside our creative agencies to help deliver the greatest value from our partnerships.
- Champion exceptional safety as our top priority, at all times.
- Plan, write, edit, proof and share content for a variety of communications mediums ensuring consistency of messaging and relevant tone of voice.
- Help develop and maintain the Group’s intranet using data insights to ensure relevancy and accuracy of content.
- Evaluate and report on the performance of internal campaigns using data insights to inform future projects.
**About You**
- Previous experience in a communications role preferred, including working across multiple channels.
- Highly articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail is essential.
- Experience working with, and ability to clearly explain and present ideas to stakeholders.
- Proactive, able to solve problems and adaptable. Works hard but embraces fun
- Highly organised and proficient at multi-tasking.
- Team player with outstanding interpersonal skills.
