**IT Assistant**

My client, a leading Food Manufacturing Industry relocated in Monaghan, are in search of an IT Assistant to support the IT Manager and the wider business.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the upkeep, configuration and operations of client computers, data and security systems
- Maintaining company’s IT network and security systems
- Setting up workstations and laptops for new users
- Maintaining printers, scanners, and phone systems
- Maintaining network and wireless network
- Running the help desk and troubleshooting to identify root cause
- Providing technical support when needed

**Criteria**:

- Windows Desktop Support Technical qualification or similar
- 2 years’ experience within a desktop support role
- Compotia A+ or Network+ (desirable)
- Demonstrate risk management
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

**Salary**: £29,000.00-£34,000.00 per year

- Technical support: 1 year (preferred)
