**Role Overview**:
Joining our fast-paced Design Team, the Graphic Designer will conceptualise and execute the design and layout of a variety of digital and print briefs for editorial, online, events and marketing projects.

The Designer will have a keen eye for detail, passion for quality, and dedication to see the creatives process through completion on time, supporting the creative team and contributing to our goal of providing a world-class service to our membership community.

The Designer will have a proactive attitude to every brief, liaising with senior stakeholders and implementing their vision on projects and beyond.

**Technical skills**:

- High-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Express, Asana, Trello.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge and experience working with Content Management Systems (no coding required).
- Experience in motion, video production and animation.
- Photo retouch and photo manipulation skills.
- Some experience working within Adestra a definite bonus.
- Key Strengths and Abilities
- Strong aesthetic skills, creativity and mastering the design theory, colours, typography, composition, hierarchy and layout principles.
- Understanding and experience in user experience and user interface design theory and principles.
- Strong portfolio of work covering a variety of platforms and media.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate within the team.
- Experience in preparing final artwork files across print and digital.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and adaptability, managing a busy workload in a fast-paced environment, able to work independently as well as in a team, with a positive attitude.
- Confident communication skills, with ability to explain eloquently design decisions and asking the right questions to implement every brief given.
- Enthusiastic team player.
- An keen eye for design and be able to take a concept and easily visualise it.
- Enjoy working in a fast paced, dynamic and creative business.
- Excellent photo retouching, photo composition and collaging.
- You will be a perfectionist and deliver high quality work.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for designing engaging creative for event and conferences display artwork, marketing and branding material, presentations and pitches, report publications, both print and digital
- Responsible for designing digital marketing campaigns across websites
- Designing contents for digital and social media, banners and web visuals
- Managing websites content through Drupal CMS
- Designing media packs, brand guidelines, specs and instructions sheets
- Design collaterals to support the sales department
- General design and photographic support including managing online content, cropping/resizing images for online requirements and retouching online product photography
- Producing promo videos, stings, animations, motion graphic, editing existing videos
