**Your new role**
- We are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to join us in a new role and make a real difference to how we manage our buildings and facilitates management.
- The role will require someone who can manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, able to make effective decisions independently that ensure all our sites operate in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
- You will develop and update facilities contracts, policies and procedures that will deliver services in line with contractual and statutory requirements.
- Reporting to the People Director the Facilities Manger will lead, support and motivate a small team, who all work closely with stakeholders across the business. Excellent communication skills and the ability to quickly build effective working relationshipstherefore is essential to success in the role.

**You should have experience in**:

- Managing utilities and other suppliers being able to quickly source remedial services and put longer term agreements in place
- Producing monthly management reports, providing insight and recommendations relating to fleet and facilities for senior managers
- Overseeing supplier activities to ensure compliance with H&S legislation, business guidelines and best practice
- Preparing annual budgets, ensuring they are managed and utilised effectively to achieve overall contract profitability whilst providing best service
- Strategically managing company fleet vehicles, working closely with stakeholders to maximise optimisation and value
- Collating data relating to facilities, identifying trends and translating this into reports for the senior managers, including suggested actions with cost benefit analysis
- Dealing with accident management in conjunction with H&S, to reduce down time, cost of accidents and risk
- Implementing sustainability initiatives
