**Quality Assurance Lead Operative**
- £30,000 per year
- 40 hours per week: Monday to Friday 830am to 5pm

**Are you familiar with ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 QMS standard requirements?**

As the Quality Assurance Lead Operative for the company’s Avonmouth operation, you will be required to flow down the requirements of the company Quality Management System & AS9120 to site employees and advise on any relating queries. This is a new role for the company where you will:

- Monitor and measure the output of key processes.
- Implement continuous improvement to improve production processes.
- Provide quality assurance support to the warehouse, sales, and shipping department.

As the only Quality Assurance Operative onsite, you will report to the Group Quality Manager (oversees 4
- site operations) and will be responsible for completing a variety of specific duties and projects. These include:

- Ensure adherence to Company Quality Manual and Action Internal Quality Audits (as directed by the Group Quality Manager).
- Conduct investigations (for root cause issues) and follow Corrective Action (8D) Reports through to conclusion.
- Arrange follow up actions from complaints through to conclusion. This could include raising credits, arranging collections, raising Vendor Discrepancy reports, and returning stock.
- Assist warehousing stakeholders with identification and traceability issues.
- Overseeing export licencing internal audits (as the export licence representative for the site)

**Do you have a professional metallurgical background and Aerospace experience?**

If you have a metallurgy background this will be an advantage because you will be working for a 50-year established global market leader in metallic raw material supply chain solutions. Other advantageous knowledge and skills for this role include:

- FAIR, CofC, Release Documentation experience.
- 8D problem resolution experience
- GKN knowledge (or experience)
- Confident customer and stakeholder facing skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
