Clinical Facilitator for Preceptorship and

The post holder will work within the Preceptorship and Onboarding Team to assist with the structured transition of our newly registered practitioners including Internationally Recruited Nurses, in line with our overseas induction, OSCE preparation, preceptorship programme and policy. In addition to delivering formal education and training there is the expectation that a high level of clinical visibility is maintained to support newly recruited nurses, whilst acting as a professional role model and using clinical expertise.
Wider aspects include contributing to corporate projects associated with National and Trust wide priorities and objectives related but not exclusive to recruitment and retention initiatives.
Assist with the facilitation of training, education, preceptorship and professional development of all newly appointed Registered staff nurses.
Support with the onboarding of international recruited Nurses liaising with the International Recruitment team where required.
Support the robust induction and OSCE preparation programme for all newly appointed internationally trained nurses.

Work clinically alongside nurses within clinical practice to support transition into clinical teams.
Delivery of education and training in line with the NMC OSCE exam requirements for internationally recruited nurses.
Work closely with the relevant ward managers to identify appropriate preceptors to aid the integration of new starter nurses into their teams and support and delivery of the Trust Preceptorship Programme.
Develop and utilise innovative teaching styles to enhance skills, optimising and standardising high levels of patient care delivery.
