I am partnering with a global giant within who require a **Wireless Communication and Research Engineer**to join their Basingstoke research and development department. **Your new role**

As an experienced wireless communications researcher, you will contribute to research on RAN technologies that can deliver optimum operation at existing and envisaged new radio frequencies to deliver the exciting new use cases that are being conceived forbeyond-5G leading to 6G wireless communication systems.

You will build up your knowledge as you research and design new RAN techniques that support both Sub-6GHz/mmWave and sub-THz radio frequency operation, joint communication and sensing, low latency and high throughput. Collaborating with partners both withinthe group and the global research community, you will create RAN technologies for the new generation of wireless communication systems.

**Requirements**:

- A PhD (completed or close to completion) in any of the following areas**:Signal processing, Wireless Communications or Telecommunications**:

- Post-graduation experience in a collaborative research role with a significant wireless communications research component
- High level of **Matlab and/or C** proficiency
- Good technical writing and presentation skills
- Good interpersonal/collaborative skills
