**Part time receptionist role in busy podiatry clinic. £10.42 per hour**

2 days per week with alternate Saturday mornings and provide holiday cover.

Working as part of a highly committed team at Shrewsbury Chiropody & Podiatry the Receptionist is one of the pivotal roles within our practice. As the Receptionist, you provide the first impression for all visitors into Shrewsbury Chiropody & Podiatry. You will be responsible for greeting both existing and potential clients, managing telephone enquiries including making and confirming bookings, taking and communicating messages to the team.

**Your duties and responsibilities will include and are not limited to**:

- answering telephone calls
- take and relay messages
- provide information to callers
- greet persons entering clinic
- deal with queries from customers
- provide general administrative and clerical support
- prepare correspondence and documents
- receive and sort mail and deliveries
- schedule appointments
- maintain appointment diary electronically
- monitor and maintain office equipment
- tidy and maintain the reception area
- take payments from clients
- provide support to clinical staff as required

**About you**
- Proven experience in a customer service role is required, having demonstrated excellent customer service, organisational and communication skills.
- Remain calm under pressure
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Proficient in the use of computers - use of Microsoft and related products e.g. word, excel. Able to learn new computer systems including clinical software
- Positive outgoing manner
