Are you passionate about working with children and promoting their physical well-being? Do you have a keen interest in physical education (PE) and want to make a positive impact on young learners? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with a focus on PE to join our primary school in Croydon.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the PE teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons to primary school students.
- Assist in planning and preparing PE activities, ensuring they align with the curriculum and cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Provide support to students during PE sessions, offering guidance and encouragement to help them develop their physical skills and confidence.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment, ensuring that all students are included and supported in their learning.
- Assist with the management and maintenance of PE equipment, ensuring it is safe and readily available for lessons.
- Help monitor and assess student progress in PE, providing feedback to both students and the PE teacher.
- Collaborate with other teaching assistants and staff members to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.

**Requirements**:

- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their overall development.
- Strong knowledge and interest in physical education, including a basic understanding of fundamental movement skills and game concepts.
- Previous experience working as a teaching assistant or in a similar educational role is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate young learners.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting students with varying abilities and needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and establish effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A commitment to upholding the school's values and creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
