**This is the job**:
As the Counter Fraud Administrator, you will assist the Counter Fraud team by providing support to the Policy Validation Team. Organisational skills are key to this role as you will be responsible for several different workstreams daily.

You will be responsible for CUE and Quote Manipulation referrals will be investigated to identify policies where information has been misrepresented. A keen eye for detail is therefore essential as well as the ability to follow process to ensure consistency across the department.

**What will I be doing?**:

- Manage all post sale CUE referrals to identify policy misrepresentation, with a view of adjusting policies that have been incorrectly priced or cancelling policies where applicable.
- Issue document requests to policy holders where policy misrepresentation is suspected.
- Handle correspondence received from policy holders, brokers, and internal teams.
- Screen documents supplied by policy holders to identify misrepresentation.
- Administer the diary reminders for the wider team, following up investigations to ensure cases are concluded efficiently.
- Utilise a variety of desktop tools, databases, and open sources to assist with profiling, to determine the direction of an investigation.
- Use conversation management techniques to determine risk and separate honesty from inconsistency when dealing with policy holders.
- Take on ad hoc tasks where required to support the Policy Validation Team and wider Counter Fraud department.

**What do I need?**:

- Proven Customer Service and/or Administration experience
- Motor Insurance experience and knowledge of the principles of underwriting are desirable but not essential
- Experience in using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook is essential
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Works well under own initiative and as part of a team
- Perceptive and keen attention to detail is essential
- Excellent analytical skills
