Transaction Manager - Charity

London

Full-time Permanent (Hybrid)

£33,000 - £40,000 per annum

Tide Recruitment are with an exciting charity in the search for a Transaction Manager

This charity is always looking for new and exciting ways to support vulnerable individuals. This charity is looking for a Transactional Manager to use their expertise to positively impact the department.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about the charity sector.

As the Transaction Manager, your job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Identifying and investigating differences between balance sheet codes on a monthly basis and resolving issues in agreement with the finance accountant. Including reconciliation of supplier statements, debtors, and creditors
- Allocating and processing all pension payments. Delivery of the monthly debtor report (which reports on outstanding debts and collections steps).
- Processing all pension payments and allocating them.
- Working closely with the finance department to support on year-end accounts
- Submitting quarterly VAT returns to HMRC. Preparation and submission of VAT returns in a timely manner, compliance issues and ensuring that deadlines are met ensuring return reconciles to figures on the financial system jobs
- Delivering an excellent customer service, leading the finance team, answering queries in a timely manner, maintaining good relationships with stakeholders. These include key suppliers as well as other internal and external contacts.
- Such other tasks as are reasonably expected of the post holder, directed by the Head of Finance and the Director of Finance
- Providing monthly KPI’s for AP and AR team
- Providing cover in the case of absence between AR and AP team

Transaction Manager Job Criteria
- Previous experience working within a charity is highly advantageous
- ACCA or Equivalent qualification is highly advantageous
- Ability to explain finance matters to non-finance staff
- Previous use of Sage 50 is highly advantageous
- Experience working at a high standard and delivering on deadlines
- Great IT skills
- Excellent communicator who is emotionally intelligent and has strong interpersonal skills
- Effective stakeholder management
