Interim Automotive | Transaction Manager


Interim Automotive, a reputable company in the automotive industry, is currently seeking experienced and dedicated Interim Automotive Transaction Managers. This role is crucial for maintaining consistent performance and meeting business objectives in the absence of in-house managers.

 

As an Interim Automotive Transaction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various transactions within the automotive business. This includes managing sales, overseeing customer service interactions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and handling any issues that may arise during the transaction process.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Maintain Consistent Performance: Ensure the maintenance of consistent sales volumes, finance, and insurance figures.
  • Adhere to Standards: Ensure FCA compliant operations within the dealership.
  • Compliance Assessment: Undertake a compliance assessment of the dealer group they will be working with.
  • Recommend Improvements: Identify and recommend areas of improvement within the dealership. Seamless Integration: Seamlessly integrate into existing teams and operations, adapting to fit the unique needs and goals of each client.
  • Sales and Finance Coordination: Manage all aspects of the vehicle sales process, including arranging financing and finalizing sales details with customers.
  • Product Promotion: Promote additional products or services such as warranties, insurance, and maintenance packages to customers.
  • Documentation Management: Ensure all necessary paperwork for each sale is correctly completed, processed, and stored.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure all transactions adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Work closely with customers to ensure a smooth transaction process, aiming to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Reporting: Prepare and provide reports on transaction details, results, and trends to dealership management.

 

Requirements:

  • Flexible Schedule: Available to work 5 or 6 days per week including weekends.
  • Rigorous Recruitment Checks: Must have undergone rigorous recruitment checks.
  • Relevant Accreditations: Possess an annual FCA senior manager accreditation and be SAF approved.
  • Dealership Compatibility: Ability to work within dealership requirements.
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in automotive retail management.
  • Communication and Leadership: Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
  • Regulatory and Sales Knowledge: Strong knowledge of automotive sales and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a sales or finance role, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of sales processes, financial products, and relevant laws and regulations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively interact with customers, staff, and external parties.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot any issues that arise during the transaction process.
  • Organisation Skills: Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously, ensuring all details are correctly handled and deadlines are met.
  • Customer Service: A strong focus on customer service, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in using computer software, including sales and finance programs, CRM systems, and office software like MS Office.
