Monday to Friday (no weekends)
7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week
There is flexibility on your start & finish times
Our client is a leading importer & distributor of FMCG food products. Due to growth and expansion, they are seeking to recruit an experienced Transport Administrator to join their team at their Head office in Warrington.
Reporting to the Group Transport Manager, your role will be to offer an organised and efficient administration service to the Transport function. This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a market leader who are investing in the business.
**Summary of core role responsibilities**:
- Assist with the scheduling of Vehicles for service & maintenance checks
- Communicate effectively with team members and harness good working relations
- Initiate appropriate corrective action when substandard performance or issues arise
- Attend Transport Team meetings and participate in team decisions and operations
- Ensure a seamless service to service suppliers
- Co-ordinating service sheets and PMIs
- Inspecting Invoicing by work sheets
- Co-ordinating the breakdowns for group fleet
- Collating the infringement details to issue to Senior Transport Manager
**Skills and Experience required**:
A good understanding of the Drivers Hours, Rules & regulations. Inc WTD would be advantageous although not essential.
