_**Overview of the role**:_
- Assist Warehouse Manager and Supervisor in managing the Warehouse staff including making sure that duties are completed on time and make sure no errors are caused by your team.
- Responsible for supporting in all operations within the Warehouse including staff training and staff absences
- Responsible in ensuring that all staff have adequate training for the roles they are being asked to perform and provide them with the necessary equipment for them to do so.
- Responsible in ensuring that all tasks are completed daily and that reports are made to the relevant departments at the end of each shift.
- Responsible for transferring quality products to production as per Taiko product quality standards and follow up with any product quality issues to production team and Warehouse manager and supervisor and put products on hold for any transfer
- Responsible in checking the materials, packaging and labels picked up by the Warehouse team; Also responsible to check the quantities are correct as per Planner to avoid transferring incorrect quantities which has adverse effect on the efficiency of the Production
- Assist Supervisor and Manager to manage and supervise the Warehouse team.
- Responsible for reporting errors in picking or stock shortages in a timely manner to Supervisor/Warehouse Manager
- Responsible for picking and delivering the correct materials in the correct volume in the additional orders from the production.
- Responsible for reporting any warehouse related issues to Warehouse supervisor and Manager
- Assist in arranging stock transfer from third party warehouses in Purchasing and Warehouse departments in Manager’s absence
- Responsible in ensuring that the Warehouse team follow all the company rules and procedures
- Responsible in ensuring that warehouse, picking room, vegetable chiller and fish freezer are kept tidy at all times
- Responsible in ensuring that that the goods-in procedure is observed when the warehouse team receive any goods into the warehouse
- Responsible for assigning job duties on daily basis to staff to reduce the overtime and improve the Warehouse efficiency to support Purchasing and Warehouse Manager
- Responsible for providing refresher training to all team members or retrain any individual to ensure team follows the correct company procedures at all the times; Responsible for also providing training on Navision and Traceability if requested by Purchasing and Warehouse Manager
- Responsible for monitoring traceability through Navision and ensure the Warehouse team is following the correct procedure
- Supporting Supervisor/ Manager in checking the invoices and daily recording for the approval as per the request
- Supporting in Weekly and Monthly Stocktaking as the audit and compare the figures in Navision/Its investigations to any discrepancies,
- Responsible in ensuring that all the Warehouse paperwork is completed accurately and in timely manner
- Assist the other team if requested by the management
- Responsible for conducting the daily check of forklifts and making sure that they are in a good condition during the Warehouse Supervisor’s absence
