Our client is an established business which supplies products and services to the construction and infrastructure sector. With a strong presence in the UK and Europe, our client is now looking to appoint a Business Development Executive to join their teamin Worksop.

Working closely with the customer support team, your primary role will be to generate business by strengthening relationships with both existing, new and lapsed customer accounts.

This role offers a lot of autonomy so the ability to manage your own time is essential.

A typical week in this role will include:

- Speaking with existing customers to identify future requirements
- Updating online platforms and networking sites to promote the companies brand and products
- Accessing industry specific websites to identify new tender opportunities
- Assisting in the preparation of tenders and quotes
- Upselling new or additional products to existing customers
- Supporting the Sales Manager at industry events and demonstrations

Initially this role will be an internal role, however this would suit someone who is looking to ultimately looking to progress into an external sales/account management position in the future.

Our client is looking to someone who is ambitious and tenacious You will be given freedom in this role to create new and innovative ways to enhance revenue, so self motivation and drive are key. To be considered for this role you will need to be able todemonstrate previous sales or business development experience (ideally within the B2B sector).
