**Role Description**

We are recruiting a Project Coordinator to oversee the delivery and development of a pilot project to be launched in January 2023 in partnership with Brent Council. The new project is a Community Hub hosted in a large community space in Stonebridge (not in Sufra’s existing premises). Members of the project will be able to access a Community Shop, a Community Café and holistic support in the form of Advice casework and tailored workshops. The objective of the project is to pilot a new food distribution model, alongside a wraparound offer of holistic support.

Sufra NW London is a local charity established in 2013 to address both the causes and consequences of impoverishment in the community. Our Community Hub provides a life-line for people in crisis - including families living in extreme poverty and people who are vulnerable, homeless and socially isolated. We provide our ‘guests’ with the food and support they urgently need to survive, empower them to learn new skills and improve their wellbeing, and help them find work and become financially stable. **Main Duties & Responsibilities**

Oversee the set up and daily operations at the Community Hub pilot project. The post-holder will coordinate the Community Shop and Community Café, whilst managing volunteers involved in the project and contributing to its evaluation and development.

**Community Hub Oversight**
- Be the principal Sufra staff member on-site at the Community Hub, liaising with Brent Council staff on site, advice partner organisations and Community Hub members.
- Provide information on and promote Community Hub membership to local organisations.
- Ensure Community Hub members are successfully registered onto the pilot.
- Be the first point of contact for all members when they register, and when they visit for their appointments.
- Oversee the administration of the pilot, ensuring accurate records are kept and compliant with GDPR guidelines.
- Ensure all activities in the Community Hub operate in an integrated and cohesive way.
- Oversee the timetable of wraparound support, including managing workshop registrations and following up on missed appointments.
- Provide a positive and dignified experience to all users of the Community Hub.
- Ensure that the service reflects the ethos, values and core principles of the charity.
- Maintain regular communication with all stakeholders involved in the project, including Brent Council and other Voluntary Sector Organisations.
- Liaising with Logistics and Facilities Manager to ensure smooth supply chains and effective procurement
- Ensuring Policies and Procedures are adhered to, working with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure they are up-to-date and appropriate in the pilot setting
- Line management of Facilities Assistant, including regular supervisions according to organisational calendar

**Community Shop and Café Management**
- Ensure smooth running of the Community Shop, including managing member appointments.
- Oversee stock inventories, ensuring the Community Shop is well stocked and deliveries are received and organised on arrival.
- Work closely with the Community Chef to ensure the smooth running of the café.
- Implement the Community Hub membership guidelines, ensuring those registered on the pilot access all available elements and engage throughout their 3-month membership.
- Provide effective leadership for the service and supervision during services, directly or indirectly by delegating responsibility to volunteers.
- Recruit, train and supervise volunteers for the Community Shop, Community Café and advice service.
- Ensure adequate data is collected during the sessions and stored in accordance with our data protection policy.
- Implement effective monitoring and evaluation throughout the project and provide impact data and updates to your line manager in line with reporting requirements.

**Other Duties**
- Ensure that our health and safety protocols are adhered to on premises.
- Attend regular supervisions and one-to-ones with your line manager as well as staff meetings with the wider team.
