We’re looking for a Product Lead to join our Range category team based in Southampton, with hybrid working. As a Product Lead your role will be to develop innovation in the Own Exclusive Brands (OEB) within your category whilst being more agile in new product development and impactful on performance.

What's the job?:
**What you’ll be doing**:

- Use insight to create and maintain an exciting and competitive Category OEB range
- Understand the potential additions to the OpCo 'ask', to take the OEB range to the full potential
- Have full visibility of Opco’s full ranges for insight purposes
- Project manage all selected OEB projects/ranges from concept through to delivery
- Lead a cross functional expert team (designers, engineers, quality, brand, packaging etc.) across OEB Range development and validation
- Leads on Identifying NPD, input into eligibility criteria, Selling data, Comms brief and Product Validation
- Identify commercial potential for my OEB range by analysing relevant data for trends and insights
- Identify requirements for OEB product development projects by using the Business/ OpCo Category direction and all the customer insights gained.
- Shared Responsible for the sales and margin performance of the OEB products within range
- Own ongoing performance review of OEB products and manage remedial actions with OpCo's to support overall range performance

What we need:
**What experience you’ll bring**:

- Industry knowledge and previous buying experience within the Range category, ideally within a large international retailer
- Experienced at building, planning, and executing product strategy and ranges
- Prior experience utilising commercial and customer insights to shape product decisions
- Experience in new product development

We’re adopting a hybrid approach with some office and some home working, on average 40-60% in the office. Your office location? This person will be UK based with our Head Office in Paddington, or we could explore the option of being based in one of our other retail banners head offices in Southampton or Yeovil.
