**Working in Cornwall’s Children and Families Services**
We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Family Worker or Senior Family Worker to work directly with CAMHS in the new Multi Agency Rapid Response Service which will provide integrated care to support children and young people who experience mental health crisis and social care crisis across Cornwall. The team will provide a new, integrated pathway that will offer support and treatment for families in a joined up way.
As a Family Worker in the Multi Agency Rapid Response Service you will work as part of multi-disciplinary teams to support vulnerable young people and their families at risk of admission to acute settings or specialist care by providing intensive support for families and carers. You will be supported to devise plans of intervention and undertake direct work. To do this you will be trained to utilise a range of evidence-based approaches alongside your team colleagues. Through working in this way you will be supporting young people and their families on their journey of recovery, putting the young person and their family at the centre of your work.
