**Financial Accountant**
Based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, our client who is a multi-site service provider are looking for a part qualified accountant to join their well-established team as Financial Accountant.
This job would suit an accountant who is studying ACCA / CIMA with experience in a similar financial environment to support the Financial Controller in maintaining the smooth running of the finance function.
The company is a multi-site service provider with a well-established client base. This role offers the chance to come into the business and continue to modernise the function through driving improvements in all areas, whilst deputising for the FinancialController when required.
The successful individual will have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen actively and advise colleagues. They will be able to work effectively under time pressure and flexibility to meet key deadlines, balancing priorities. They will haveexperience in both written and verbal communication with people at all levels, both within an organisation and externally. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and strong Excel skills are essential.
Duties include:
- Assist in the production of monthly management accounts and the preparation of statutory accounts.
- Carrying out balance sheet reconciliations.
- Maintaining bank accounts and cash flow maintenance in addition to the reconciliation of bank accounts
- Supporting the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
- Supporting with Internal Audits.
- Helping and developing Service based financial administrators
- Maintaining accruals and prepayment schedules administration.
- Fixed asset management - Monthly accounting and Annual Audits
- To be an effective team player and support colleagues.
