Financial Reporting Manager

Goodman Masson are excited to be partnered with a medium sized housing association on their search for a Financial Reporting Manager
What is the role?
Main responsibilities:
- Prepare quarterly financial reports for the Executive Management Team and the Board, including detailed analysis of budget and forecast variances
- Produce an executive summary with financial KPIs and highlights
- Lead the preparation of Annual Statutory Accounts and liaise with external auditors
- Ensure timely submission of regulatory returns to relevant bodies and external benchmarking data
- Collaborate with the Financial Services Manager on finance system development, focusing on systems for management accounts reporting, forecasting, and purchase ordering
- Provide proactive finance business partnering services to operational teams, offering assistance, training, and maintaining regular communication with all budget holders
- Contribute to the development of performance policies and procedures to uphold high standards of customer care in financial services
- Lead, motivate, and support Assistant Management Accountants and Finance Business Partner to deliver a professional, customer-focused service
- Undertake any other duties as reasonably requested by the management team
This role is offering a salary of circa £67,000 per annum, with heavily remote working - Aylesbury based.
What do you need to succeed?
- A full accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) or qualified by experience
- Team Management
- Housing background would be desirable
