**Role Overview**

The Legal Staffing Specialist reports to the Outside Counsel Management Team’s Engagement Manager within Citi’s Global Legal Solutions (GLS) organisation and will be based in Belfast. Primarily, this role will focus on overseeing and expanding Citi’s Global Legal Staffing programme including supporting Citi Attorneys to source temporary legal talent and optimise our staffing requirements.

The Legal Staffing Specialist will work in close daily collaboration with other GLS teammates at all levels across functions including Finance, Technology, Project Management and Operations while adhering to GLS program goals and priorities.

In addition, the Legal Staffing Specialist would work in frequent coordination with non-legal organisations within Citi such as Enterprise Supply Chain (ESC) partners, internal policy teams, productivity leads and others who are vested in optimising and innovating the manner in which Citi secures legal staff.

**Key Responsibilities**

Primarily, this role will support the expansion and enhanced management of Legal Staffing at Citi driven by the Outside Counsel Management Team, with the following key responsibilities:

- Managing and expanding Citi’s Legal Staffing Provider Panel.
- Supporting Citi Attorneys to source legal talent through competitive tendering (RFPs).
- Managing the onboarding of temporary staff and administrative tasks.
- Managing and building relationships with legal staffing providers.
- Analysing spend data and budgets.
- Escalating issues to the Outside Counsel Management Team’s Engagement Manager.
- Developing and delivering strategic reporting and other key correspondence to senior members of Citi’s legal organisation, GLS, and members of the external legal community in all regions.
- Other duties or ad hoc projects may be assigned from time-to-time in support of achieving the overall objectives of the Outside Counsel Management Team.

**Competencies/Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree is required.
- Highly effective project and process management skills.
- High attention to details, excellent time management and critical thinking skills.
- High social acumen and the ability to collaborate directly, daily, and effectively across cultures, geographies, and time zones.
- Relationship management experience and ability to interact with various stakeholders across different geographies and respond rapidly to urgent requests to fulfil business needs.
- Advanced writing and verbal presentation skills required.
- Strong organisational and documentation skills required.
- Exceptional data analysis skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional written communication skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word.
