**Role**:Regional Manager - Energy Storage (Sales)
**Location**: Australia preferably on the East coast
**Salary**:$110 000 - $120 000 annum + Commission on sales ( To be discussed)

You have the chance to join a growing team, leading the Smart Energy sector for Utility Scale Batteries towards a Net Zero Carbon future.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Grow a portfolio of Standalone, Co-located Utility-scale and Community batteries in Australia.
- Understanding the opportunities across all available markets to maximize revenue for BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) target sector identified above in Australia.
- Developing and progressing a sales pipeline in Salesforce of existing operational and to be built assets in key states.
- Organizing face to face and remote meetings with key targets, and other market participants to enable sales success.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key decision makers and manage relationships with senior stakeholders using recognisable engagement mapping techniques such as Miller Heiman or equivalent.
- Support the wider business understanding the Australian Battery market and the required product evolution to support sales success.
**Skills, Qualifications & Experience**
- A proven track record of delivering results within the Australian Energy industry - open to Power, Utilities, Energy, Battery, Power Networks and Power trading.
- Sell a portfolio of Standalone, Co-located Utility-scale and Community batteries in Australia.
- An ability to work autonomously and to think creatively is therefore required to tackle new challenges and to support long term, sustainable growth.
- A strong understanding of the Australia UK energy markets, and experience of FCAS and Power Trading would be welcome but not essential.
- A self-starter who is able to work of their own initiative to enable business success.
- Commercial aptitude, with experience contributing to business strategy by identifying and pursuing market opportunities.
- The ability to effectively communicate complex information to a variety of stakeholders including those in sales and operational functions and most importantly to board level with actionable summary reporting.
- The successful individual will feel comfortable within a fast paced, engaging, technology scale up and will have the ability to work flexibly across a range of responsibilities.
