Qc Analyst

**QC Analyst, Chemical - immediate start**

**6 month contract initially with a strong chance of going temp to perm**

Our client a well-known - global chemical company is looking to recruit and experienced GC / HPLC Analyst who will work at their QC facility and this is a great chance to get a foot in with this company

**Duties**:

- Organising workloads to ensure samples are reported in agreed timescales
- Development and maintenance of GC instrumentation
- Experience in HPLC involvement
- Ensuring all ISO quality requirements are met in line with laboratory procedures
- Process and interpretation of analytical results.
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of instrumentation.
- Writing technical reports
- Ensure laboratory records are kept accurate and up to date
- Additional/ extended wet chemistry and physical chemistry analysis (titrations etc.)

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- At least 2 years' experience of working in the Chemical or related industries
- Experience of GC, HPLC, and Ion Chromatography and performing troubleshooting when required
- Experience of wet chemistry techniques, including Karl Fischer, titrations and densities.
- Method development experience would be highly desirable
- Being used to working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
