Payroll Administrator

**The role**:
As a Payroll Administrator you will be responsible for delivering core payroll services across the company.
This is initially an 18 month assignment with scope to extend. Fully remote working.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Checking and processing of weekly payroll, documenting errors for KPI monitoring, adhering to control and audit requirements.
- Managing customer queries coming through a payroll inbox and over the phone
- Ensure all instructions impacting UK payroll are captured and understood
- Work with 3rd party payroll provider to ensure all changes relating to pay are captured and processed according to policy
- Provide support for external and internal audit review for local unit activities
- Liaise with internal contacts in different teams including, HR, pensions and benefits departments to provide a smooth and efficient service.
- Controlling and correcting errors in payroll calculation
- Review control reports according to schedule
**Knowledge/Experience**:
- Knowledge of, and experience in core payroll tasks
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Good Excel skills and a knowledge of the full Microsoft package
