An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Programme Support Officer working on the First Contact Practitioner (FCP) Programme to work closely and support the NW implementation of the FCP across Primary Care. They will be working with national, regional & ICS workforce leads, the Primary Care School, Primary Care Training Hub and Workforce Development Managers, national and local education providers and other key external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of consistent services, aligned to HEE Standard Operating Procedures. They will undertake a wide range of managerial and administrative tasks, including taking personal responsibility for a range of delegated projects and business. This is in addition to providing a comprehensive administrative and project support service for the Regional FCP Programme Managers and the professional networks that they manage.

This development opportunity/secondment is a FTC until 31.3.22 and will be 15hrs per week. Applicants will commence at the bottom of Band 5 with a full-time starting salary of £24,907, with pay step increases after 2 years’ service and 4 years’ service.

These salaries are offered in accordance with NHS Terms and Conditions and the HEE Pay Progression Policy.

The Programme Support Officer is responsible for the coordination of the workforce improvement and transformation projects across the workforce of Psychological Professions (PPs) and Health Care Scientists (HCS). The Programme Support Officer is responsible for the provision of senior administrative and project support services for the regional PP/HSC programme managers and the professional networks that they manage.

**The postholder will**:

- Work as part of a team to co-ordinate and implement specific workstreams, team functions and professional networks.
- Provide a comprehensive administrative service.
- Be a point of contact within HEE for external stakeholders.
- Work independently within a defined function to achieve agreed outcomes

The post-holder will work closely with national, regional & ICS PP/HCS workforce leads, PP/HCS network workforce councils and their Chairs, local education providers and other key external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of consistent services, aligned to HEE Standard Operating Procedures.

The Programme Support Officer is responsible for the coordination of the

North-West AHP First Contact Practitioner agenda. The Programme Support Officer is responsible for the provision of senior administrative and project support services for the regional HEE Primary Care Training Hub and Workforce Development Managers and the professional networks that they manage.
