This role will provide specialist support for non-asset based products sold through VWFS | Fleet, including but not limited to Telematics, Daily Rental, Accident Management and Driverline services. A significant amount of the VWFS | Fleet Corporate proposition is comprised of services outsourced to third parties and this role will be one of our stakeholders first points of contact. The team also deal with all taxation process and queries for vehicles owned by VWFS and corporate customer consolidating billing which will form part of the responsibilities for this secondment.

The Fleet Supply Specialist is responsible for a range of activities critical in managing customer experience and supplier performance, including the provision of Tier 1 level support.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Take full ownership of queries into the Fleet Supply queue, using initiative to resolve customer queries within first contact
- Provide clear and concise process expertise on a wide range of processes and be recognised by others as a point of contact for advice, guidance and process improvement
- Manage a variety of invoice verification procedures for supplier billing, ensuring VWFS are paying the correct rates for agreed services on a monthly basis
- Raising invoice requests to re-charge corporate customers for any value added products they have purchased in the previous month
- Complete consolidating billing statements for key Fleet Corporate customers, ensure impeccable accuracy and consistency
- Complete root cause analysis into untaxed vehicles and incorrectly registered vehicles, to mitigate going forwards - advise the operational teams on remedial actions where vehicles have been registered incorrectly
- Assist in any Legal matters that arise from taxation issues, which includes proving a detailed timeline of a vehicle’s taxation/registration history in a timely manner
- Work all post that is received from the DVLA, ensuring that all are investigated and actioned to reduce any risk to VWFS

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Strong customer focus essential with a determination to resolve customer queries first time
- High level of attention to detail
- Solid commercial experience, preferably in a business to business environment
- Ability to multi-task, balancing short term, immediate customer needs with longer term initiatives
- A track record of operational or supplier management support (desirable)
- Be able to negotiate and influence with stakeholders and customers as appropriate
- Analytical mind set - the role will be dealing with extensive data sets
- Advanced excel skills
- Investigation experience - root cause analysis, working with ambiguous information
- Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and ability to work under pressure
- Strong relationship building and confident communicator - ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally at all levels
