We Make Footballers is a pioneering organisation committed to youth football development. Our mission is to nurture talent, instil valuable life skills, and foster a love for the game among young footballers. Through top-quality coaching, innovative programs, and a passion for excellence, we aim to shape the future of football.

Our podcast has 200,000 followers across our social media platforms and we aim to grow this audience across all channels to 500,000 within the next year. We need your help to do this.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement social media marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and growth across multiple platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
- Record high production level footage of our training and events (often conducted at weekends so flexible working is a must)
- Create and curate engaging content, including posts, stories, reels, videos, graphics, and interactive elements, to drive audience engagement, foster community interaction, and promote brand visibility.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team to conceptualise and produce high-quality video content that showcases the journey of young footballers, highlights coaching sessions, player achievements, testimonials, and behind-the-scenes footage.
- Utilise storytelling techniques to craft compelling narratives and emotional connections through video, effectively conveying the values, mission, and impact of We Make Footballers.
- Stay informed about industry trends, social media algorithms, platform updates, and emerging technologies to optimise content performance, maximise reach, and stay ahead of the competition.
- Monitor and analyse social media metrics and video performance analytics to track progress, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions for content optimization and strategy refinement.
- Engage with our audience through comments, messages, and interactions, fostering a sense of community, building relationships with followers, and addressing inquiries and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with coaches, players, parents, and other stakeholders to capture authentic and compelling content that resonates with our target audience and aligns with brand values.
- Manage video production logistics, including scheduling shoots, coordinating locations, securing permissions, and organising equipment, to ensure seamless execution and timely delivery of content.
- Maintain a cohesive brand presence and voice across all social media channels and video content, ensuring consistency in tone, style, messaging, and visual aesthetics.
- Stay proactive and adaptive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively, while maintaining a high standard of quality and creativity.

**Requirements**:

- At least 3 years of experience in social media marketing, content creation, and video production, preferably in the sports or youth development industry.
- Advanced knowledge of social media platforms, trends, best practices, and advertising capabilities, with hands-on experience managing and optimising campaigns across multiple channels.
- Proficiency in videography techniques, camera operation, lighting setup, and audio recording, with expertise in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Experience working with a podcast and helping to drive online engagement of a podcast
- Strong storytelling abilities, creative mindset, and exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and emotional connections through video and social media content.
- Passion for football and youth development, with a genuine interest in sharing inspiring stories, promoting the positive impact of sports, and engaging with our community.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Strategic thinking, analytical mindset, and data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to monitor performance metrics, identify insights, and optimise content strategies for maximum impact.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Strong portfolio showcasing successful social media campaigns, engaging content, and high-quality video productions.
