Finance Administrator

My client is looking for a Finance Administrator to work for a company based in Kendal. This is a Full-time Temporary role to start ASAP on a 6-month contract initially.
You will be required to work 35 hours per week
9am-4.30pm (Mon-Fri), although they could accommodate someone who is looking to work 28 hours.
The Purpose of the Position:
The Finance Administrator is responsible for providing effective day to day administration processes to support the Finance Director.
The Duties will include:
- Provide administrative support for ad-hoc projects, programmes and meetings.
- Co-ordinate and minute senior management team meetings.
- Provide assistance with planning and arranging events, including organising catering and refreshments.
- Assist with setting up room bookings and ordering catering and refreshments Zoom meetings/webinars and managing registrants.
- Monitor and order office supplies and stationery.
- Create agenda and organise internal and external meetings when required.
- Miscellaneous office duties including photocopying, faxing, greeting visitors etc.
- Able to manage customer expectations and recognise when to deal with issues independently and when to escalate issues to a higher level.
- Provide administrative support for management.
- Take telephone payments.
- Record and bank donations, memberships and other income on the finance system.
- Check, process and record payments, administer invoices and expenses claims received, code items to agreed budgets.
- Add received payments and income from Subscriber to the finance system.
