People Development Trainer

**Location: remote with travel required**

T2M Resourcing are working with a leading hospitality business to appoint a People Development Trainer; this is a newly created role so provides an excellent opportunity for the right person to really make their mark This role will be based remotely withtravel including overnight stays as required as part of the role predominantly across England.

**What will you be doing as People Development Trainer?**

You will be creating training for delivery to new and current team members; understanding what team members want or need to learn, using your own knowledge and experience, and current internal and external content,

You will deliver both face to face and virtual training. Fostering great relationships across all levels and all departments within the business actively listening to what's been said and observing interactions with others. Your success will be measuredin what happens when people are back to the floor.

You will train on company culture, brand standards, our 'Welcome', engaging with the business by working alongside team members through conversation, practice and action planning.

Working closely with a People Development Manager, you will also work with the wider People Team who are a small, high performing team who work hard and have fun at the same time

**To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following**:

- Ideally have prior experience in an operational or training role within the hospitality Industry
- Be a confident person with strong communication skills - this is as much about active listening as it is about speaking
- Demonstrate a coaching style approach which enables people to learn for themselves
- Be someone who can think on their feet and work with what is in the room and not be 'scripted' in their approach to training
- You will be out & about across the UK delivering training in hotels, so you will not be afraid of travel and the requirement to stay away from home.
