Estimating Administrator

Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Estimating Administrator to join our existing team in Inchinnan. As an Estimating Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting our team of Estimators in the pricing of tenders and project proposals. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for construction and estimating, who is eager be part of a busy team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with the existing team of estimators to assist in the preparation and pricing of tenders and proposals.
- Review and analyse project documents, drawings, and specifications to gather essential information for accurate cost estimates.
- Obtain material / labour costs and seek quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Input and organize data into estimating software and spreadsheets to facilitate the estimation process.
- Assist in generating and submitting accurate and competitive bids within specified deadlines.
- Collaborate with various internal departments to gather relevant data and ensure comprehensive tender submissions.
- Support the Estimators in maintaining and updating the estimating database with current information.
- Demonstrate keen attention to detail.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in an Estimating or Administrator role is preferable but not essential.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational skills and excellent time management abilities.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to spot errors and discrepancies.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Possess a valid driving license and have access to your own car (preferred due to the office location).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
