**Job Title: Floristry & Events Assistant**

**Job will entail**:
Assisting in the production of luxury faux flower arrangements for weddings and events. Working with our Creative director to make up flower arrangements in a number of collections. This includes but is not limited too, bouquets, buttonholes' corsages, centrepieces, arches and venue installations.

Sorting all flowers and additional items from stock and loading and unloading vehicles for events.

Delivering the floral arrangements and all other selected items, to fulfil client orders and removing following the event.

Dressing the venue with all of the above and removal following the event.

Returning all items to warehouse, ready for the next event.

Assisting in the organisation and efficient running of the Warehouse.

Assisting in setting up mock ups of weddings and events at the studio for clients viewings.

Keeping the studio organised and ready for clients.

Keeping the floristry workshop area organised and tidy.

**Responsibilities**:
**1. Floristry Support**:

- Collaborate with Creative Director on client orders
- Make up designs as agreed with Creative Director.
- Provide on-site support during events, addressing client needs and making real-time adjustments to floral arrangements and installations as required.
- Maintain a customer-centric approach, striving to exceed expectations in floral creations.

**2. Ad Hoc Administrative Tasks**:

- Working with the Creative Director to offer excellent client support through clear and timely communication, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Navigate a fast-paced environment, delivering efficient administrative support to meet tight deadlines.
- Following up with clients for reviews and images.

**3. Warehouse & Studio Maintenance**:

- Engage with customers in a friendly and helpful manner when they visit the warehouse/studio for scheduled views.
- Ensure inventory accuracy to fulfil customer orders promptly and maintain a positive customer experience.
- Notifying Creative Director of low stock, in advance of events to allow for timely restocking.
- Returning all items to stock, following an event.
- Checking stock for cleaning, maintenance and repairs to ensure stock is of top quality condition at all times, notifying Creative Director of any items requiring attention.
- Reporting breakages, lost or damaged items to Creative Director immediately.

**4. Event Setup and Takedown**:

- Be able to work to a deadline, under pressure.
- Liase with venue in a professional manner.
- Drive company vehicles to and from the venue.
- Load and unload vehicles in an orderly and responsible manner.
- On arrival at venue, organise and store the delivered items in an orderly tidy manner so as to cause the minimum disruption and adhere to health and safety measures. Same on take down.
- Dress the event as per the delivery note and brief, as agreed with the client and creative director.
- Prioritise customer satisfaction during event setups, accommodating last-minute changes with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Engage with clients during takedown, addressing any post-event concerns and ensuring a smooth conclusion to their experience.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to exceptional customer service.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in floristry, particularly with faux flowers, is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in hospitality industry is highly desirable and an advantage.
- Must have a current driving licence.
- Works well under pressure.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle tasks efficiently.
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain a high standard of work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills with a strong customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to lift and carry objects associated with event setup and takedown, often over uneven ground and stairs.

*Additional Requirements:*
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings based on event schedules.
- A passion for creativity and a keen eye for design.
- Adaptable to work with last minute a change in plans
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as required.

Summer season is very busy for us and we need assistance to complete the orders we have and further orders that are incoming

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance

**Salary**: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 4 per week
