nCino offers exciting career opportunities for individuals who want to join the worldwide leader in cloud banking.

Technical writers at nCino are responsible for writing technical product documentation for the nCino Bank Operating System. Through individual, hands-on research and collaborative work with development teams and other stakeholders, you’ll gain a detailed, highly technical understanding of the nCino product and use that expertise to write a variety of documentation. nCino’s technical documentation includes: user guides for nCino customers, configuration guides for the administrators and nCino employees who implement the software at financial institutions, release notes, contributions to product presentation materials, and other supplemental documentation. The technical writing team is housed in the Marketing department; in addition to technical writing, you'll have the opportunity to write for the nCino Community blog, contribute product copy, and collaborate with product marketers and other content creators.

**Responsibilities**:

- Handle all user and configuration technical documentation for several development teams
- Assist in nCino product releases by creating installation/upgrade guides and writing release notes
- Work with other content writers and colleagues from a variety of roles to produce and edit written content in support of the nCino product and brand
- Actively contribute to the nCino content writing team’s processes and functions
- Interact regularly with nCino’s online user Community; assist with document access, answer questions from both internal users and end users

Objectives

Within the first few months on the job, you will:

- Earn your Salesforce Administrator certification
- Learn the Salesforce platform
- Create and maintain your own development environment—installing and upgrading nCino software regularly—in order to practice configuring, using, and documenting the nCino product
- Assertively request documentation resources such as product demos, and use this material to create complete documentation
- Take on additional writing assignments such as nCino Community blog articles
- Offer peer review to other writers
- Work to enhance our writing standards and team processes

**Qualifications**:

- Required:_
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience, education, and superior performance
- Two years of relevant experience
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrable ability to write effectively for a variety of audiences
- Excellent active listening and analysis skills
- Strong organizational skills; ability to handle deadlines and prioritize work in a dynamic setting
- Ability to work independently and as a team collaborator
- Technical aptitude
- Ability to learn a variety of tools, including word processors, collaboration software, and publishing platforms
- Attention to detail
- Interest in software development
- Interest in financial processes
- Desired:_
- Two years of technical writing experience
- Familiarity with Salesforce
- Familiarity with financial services
- Salesforce Administrator certification
- Experience with the software development lifecycle
