We're recruiting for a truly unique, interesting and career defining position within the travel sector. The opportunity to join a company as part of their Health, Safety and Compliance division doesn't come up that often, particularly with a company thatis making exceptional progress and will allow you to carve out this role for your own.

The position of Health, Safety and Compliance Manager is one that requires a high level of occupational health and safety knowledge (NEBOSH qualified) and experience of conducting risk assessments, ideally within the hotel and travel environment.

You'll be responsible for working closely with a third party health and safety team as you effectively mitigate the risks for corporate travellers at UK hotels. Conducting onsite assessments in person and reviewing desktop audits, you'll be able to successfullyand thoroughly ensure that any traveller risk is at an absolute minimum and identify area's for improvement.

With regular UK travel a main part of this position, you'll be comfortable working within new environments, be a natural communicator, analytical and strategic in your approach to the job. This is a complex position and one that comes with a great degreeof autonomy and self management so you'll be the sort of person who can plan and maximise your time effectively.

**WORKING HOURS, LOCATION & PACKAGE**
- This is a home based position so you can be anywhere in the UK however there will be a large amount of UK travel involved (largely in the south of the UK but not exclusively)
- It's a Monday-Friday role but there may be times that you are required to work outside of these days/hours as you may need to be reactive to situations as they occur.
- The salary is in the region of £45-48k and the company offers a comprehensive benefits package.

**WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**
- This isn't an entry level role so we do need some demonstrable experience within a Health and Safety capacity and you will need to be NEBOSH qualified.
- We'd love some understanding of Food Hygiene and a qualification to go with it.
- Experience of working for a Tour Operator, directly within a hotel or another form of hospitality in a similar role would be hugely advantageous
- Working knowledge of a Quality Management System (ISO 9001 or similar)
