We are looking for a Finance Office to join the fast-growing team at Data Protection People. The role is to manage and perform general accounting functions for a fast-growing business.

Salary depends on experience and qualifications.

Experience of modern accountancy systems such as Xero, Float and Fathom is desired.

**Key areas of focus will include**:

- Carry out daily bookkeeping functions using Xero.
- Invoice clients for work undertaken
- Chasing payments from customers
- Set up payments for supplier invoices
- Manage the company expenses and ensure they are correctly accounted for and cross billed
- Processing monthly payroll for internal staff
- Liaise with the company accountants for the year end accounts.

**What key skills are we looking for**:

- Proven work experience.
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation, including board executives
- Solid experience with CRM software, accounts packages and MS Office
- Experience in undertaking basic bookkeeping functions
- Experience in chasing payments from customers
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Being a team player is essential

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
