**Key Tasks and Responsibilities for Shipping & Logistics Coordinator**
- Deal with packages arrive into our office daily, inspect the goods and pass the supplier’s packing list to PO department notifying them that their order is delivered to our company
- If goods are received in damaged condition, escalate the matter to PO department immediately to investigate with the supplier
- Invoices to be checked and amended where necessary. Take action to expedite shipping within a maximum of 2 working days.
- Liaise with London Chamber of Commerce for attestation of Certificate of Origin & commercial Invoice when required
- Coordinate shipment with customers freight forwarders. For Air/Sea Freight shipments, obtain flight details/Forwarder’s Certificate of Receipt (FCR) copy from the freight forwarders.
- Handle all work for that day ensuring it is actioned and completed. Log sheets/weekly performance tables to be completed as requested by your supervisor/ manager.
- Manage time effectively in order to produce maximum productivity within the department. Prioritise workload taking initiative where expected, paying attention to detail and maintaining accuracy within the work process
- Respond promptly to customer/supplier/ Freight forwarders queries relating to shipment of orders and follow up closely to resolve/finalise in timely manner. Escalate to supervisor/management for any prolonged unresolved issues
- All communications with suppliers, manufacturers, customers and including internal communication must be conducted in a polite, courteous and professional manner.
- Must be in fit condition to handle/lifting light packages around the department.
- Reliable attendance and flexibility to work beyond normal office hours during extreme work load period are important factors to the selection criteria.
- Meet department’s daily/weekly targets

- Work well in stressful situations and under pressure

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
