Located in leafy North London near Hampstead Heath, our hospital is easily accessible from Central London and the surrounding areas. Boasting 32 luxury en-suitebedrooms, 4 operating theatres, 15 consulting suites and a Recovery unit. We are seeking for a new Lead Recovery Practitioner for the Theatre team. The successful candidate will be an expert recovery practitioner, will have experience leading the recoveryroom and will be comfortable guiding others. The role requires someone who is able to multitask, and has excellent communication skills.As a Lead Recovery Practitioner you will;Communicate pro-actively and effectively with others who are involved in the careof the patient.Assemble, check and prepare the appropriate surgical and recovery equipment, drugs and consumables for a wide range of operative procedures. Co-ordinate the use of the supplies and equipment during the operating list and during the immediatepost-operative phase of care ensuring the equipment is used in an appropriate and safe manner. Complete mandatory surgical checks prior to the start of the procedure, during and pre-wound closure. Conduct mandatory patient checks including informed consent,patient's identity and operative site against the supporting documentation, prior to the start of the anaesthetic and prior to the start of the procedure.Act as a role model and mentor to junior staff.
