- To deliver outstanding student success through operational leadership and management of a team of staff including lecturers, business support staff and external partners.
- To line manage a high performing team of staff and support the team’s development.
- To ensure that the curriculum offer meets the needs of students, employers and local stakeholders.
- To utilise business planning strategies to ensure growth and sustainability, including staff utilisation, resources, financial management to provide a distinctive high quality student experience.
- To embed an aspirational culture with students and staff across the curriculum area.
As a Head of Construction, you will be required to teach a minimum of 45 hours per year, so you will need to be an excellent teacher with knowledge of current teaching and learning strategies.
