Internal Sales Expert

**Internal Sales Representative at Build Depot Larkhall**, South Lanarkshire.

A great opportunity has become available for a new member of staff to join our internal sales team as we continue to expand our independent and family-run business.

We are looking for an experienced, talented and highly motivated person with previous merchant experience, ideally sales experience, who can thrive in this fast paced and rewarding position with opportunities for progression within the business and wider Group. We are part of one of the UK’s largest Buying Groups, enabling us to compete effectively within our industry, whilst retaining our independent ethos.

Tasks will include:

- Provide customer service and advise on the array of products and services of the company
- Manage existing and new customer accounts
- Process Quotations, Sales Orders and Purchase Orders
- Assess each customer / client's needs ensuring that they have the correct materials for their order
- Maximise sales opportunities by up-selling and following up quotations
- Merchandising
- Adhere to all company procedures and policies on customer satisfaction & health and safety
- Hours of work, Monday to Friday. Typical starts, 7.30am -4.30pm & alternative Saturdays 8am - 1pm.

**Experience**:

- Sales/Customer Service in Builders Merchant: 2 years (Essential)
