Junior Interior Designer

**Duties**:

- Assist senior interior designers in creating design concepts and plans for residential and commercial spaces
- Collaborate with clients to understand their design preferences and requirements
- Prepare detailed drawings, renderings, and presentations using computer-aided design Sketchup & CAD software
- Source and select materials, furniture, fixtures, and accessories for projects
- Assist in budgeting and cost estimation for design projects
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely project completion
- Conduct on-site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design plans
- Stay updated on the latest trends, materials, and techniques in interior design

**Requirements**:

- Strong knowledge of design principles, color theory, and space planning
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD or SketchUp
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Previous experience or internship in interior design is preferred
