**About the role**
We have an exciting opportunity for 2 talented Finance Officers to join our Rents & Service Charges team in Oldham on a full time, 12 months fixed term contract.

Reporting into the Rents & Service Charge Manager, some of your duties will include:

- Delivering an effective service charge accounting service across Guinness to meet legal and regulatory requirements.
- Reviewing social, shared owner and fair rents in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements, liaising with operational teams as required.
- Delivering accurate and timely service charge estimates and statement of accounts for all service charges, liaising with operational teams as required.
- Monitoring actual performance of service charges against estimates, analysing variances and taking corrective action, escalating issues as appropriate.
- Contributing to the development and delivery of plans and timetables that ensure service is delivered effectively.
- Exercising internal controls, highlighting errors and taking action to rectify them where necessary.

You’ll not only have previous experience with working in a rents & service charge or finance environment, but you’ll also have great customer service skills and a willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done.

You’ll also be able to demonstrate:

- Experience of reviewing and analysing financial information and reporting on results.
- Good attention to detail with ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload to meet agreed deadlines.
- Proven customer service experience.
- Excellent oral and written communications.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Relevant professional qualification e.g. AAT or part qualified CCAB.
