**Main Purpose of job**:
This 12-month fixed term role involves utilising the full training cycle, from training needs analysis, design and delivery through to evaluation and iteration. The goal is to provide the V&A with a refreshed suite of trainings, which can be delivered on an ongoing basis, across different teams of volunteers and colleagues at appropriate times.

It is expected that much of this content will need to be designed and delivered as blended and self-led formats and approximately 30% of the role will involve in person, real time training delivery, either at a V&A site or via a platform such as MS Teams.

The role reports into the Talent and Skills Manager with volunteering training design accountability to the Head of Volunteering.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with Talent and Skills Manager, V&A Volunteering Lead and other stakeholders to identify, create and prioritise learning needs and deliver appropriate Learning and Development solutions
- Employ the whole learning cycle (design to evaluation) to deliver high quality, impactful programmes
- Embed return on investment and return on expectation metrics into programme design and delivery- Employ a range of techniques including eLearning and in-person delivery to co-create bespoke and blended programmes
- Ensure learning events are timely, focused, relevant and add value to individuals and the V&A
- Evaluate, improve, and report on learning programme effectiveness
- Work flexibly with stakeholders and colleagues, to respond to the different and occasionally conflicting demands and deadlines of a busy environment
- Continually develop to bring the latest learning methodologies and approaches to the role
