We are partnered with a leading R&D tax and patent box specialist who are investing in their continued growth with the recruitment of a Business Development Executive. The role offers flexible working with the requirement to be in their office in GreaterManchester 2 days per month, though you can attend the office more regularly if this is a preference

**Salary**: £25k-£30k + on target bonus up to £1k per month
**The role**
The primary focus of the role is to engage in various activities that will generate leads and appointments for the national sales team to follow-up. The activities could range from telesales, LinkedIn search and follow-up and existing client referral calls.

**Principle Accountabilities**
- Work through prospect lists to generate interest in our services and gain an appointment
- Experience in cold calling companies and approaches to warm them up pre-call
- Develop innovative approaches to lead generation
- Work alongside the Marketing Campaign Executive to build campaign plans
- Explain and position our products & solutions
- Meet (and exceed) annual/monthly targets
- Act as a Brand Ambassador for the company and their values
- Develop and maintain knowledge of products and services
- Collaborate with other departments within the company to drive optimal performance
- Other duties as assigned

**Experience**
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to connect and build relationships with clients across C-Level and below
- A powerful desire to achieve
- Perseverance and self-motivation to gain access to decision makers
- A proactive, 'common-sense' approach to business
- Strong organisational abilities including good time management skills
- Sales outbound experience within a professional B2B environment
- You will be used to working towards sales targets and agreed KPI's
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
