We are looking for a proactive HR Administrator to join the School of Arts and Humanities shared HR team to provide a professional and efficient administrative service to faculties and research centres within the School. This is a newly created HR Administrator position, which provides HR support to 10 institutions within the School. This position has been created to enhance the existing team and will be part of the School Office and wider HR teams. The role is full time and fixed term for three years, in the first instance, and will involve a combination of office based and home working.

The role-holder will work closely with the two HR Co-ordinators to provide a comprehensive HR service supporting staff recruitment, induction, probation, end of contract procedures, leave and contract changes. The role-holder will also respond to a range of HR queries, advising on HR policy, procedure and best practice. The role is busy and varied and requires good communication skills and the ability to handle a varied workload and competing demands whilst meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
