**Company Information**

You will be working for a SME construction business. With expansion due to contract wins, they are looking to recruit within the finance team.

**Main duties**
- Subcontractor Ledger_
- Checking invoices for any subcontractor invoices
- Distributing to relevant contract manger
- Raising payment certificate for weekly payment run as and when they are due
- Sending all relevant paperwork to subcontractor
- Conduct CIS verifications
- Setting up subcontractors correctly on systems
- Issuing CIS statements when requested
- Dealing with retention release requests.
- Liaising with subcontractors
- Supplier Ledger_
- Completing supplier reconciliations
- Allocation of payments
- Setting up bank payment ready for release.
- Other Duties_
- Posting of payment on cashbook
- Assisting with year-end audit
- Archiving of documentation
- Variety of general administration duties
- Adhoc tasks for account manager

**Requirements**:

- Come from an accounts background with AAT qualification or qualified through their experience
- Experienced in processing payments
- Experience of Sage 50 Accounts
- Ability to build long term relationships with various subcontractors.
- Ability to liaise will different areas of the business to resolve any queries
- Efficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Innovative and forward-thinking person with positive approach to problem prevention and solving.
- Highly motivated
- Willingness to learn and develop
- Confident IT skills.
- Good communications skills, both written and verbally
- Good team player with ability to communicate to all
- Conscientious and attentive attitude to work at all times

**Benefits**

Salary - 24k plus

Hours - 39

Hybrid Working - No

Holiday - 20 days plus bank holidays

Pension

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
