**THE POSITION**

**The role to include but not limited to the following**:

- **Raise PO’s and labels for stock orders following instruction from the purchasing department**:

- **Book delivery slots with warehouses for upcoming inbound shipments**:

- **Communicate any delays between freight agent, hauliers and warehouses co-ordinating a new delivery schedule**:

- **Prepare & send packing list to warehouse for upcoming deliveries**:

- **Notify warehouses of palletisation/ batch specific requirements**:

- **Inspect the GRN paperwork from the warehouse ensuring it is correct vs the packing list**:

- **Raise and resolve any discrepancies with the warehouse**:

- **Receiving and cataloguing of inbound stock on internal systems**:

- **Communicate and claim any damaged deliveries with the supplier**:

- **Assist with inbound shipments when the Shipping Co-Ordinator is out of the office. Including: - Checking with suppliers if orders ready to ship**:

- **Requesting quotes on shipments from shipping lines/ freight agents**:

- **Tracking & monitoring the status of shipments**:

- **Requesting, receiving, and forwarding shipping documents - In the absence of the transport administrator, report to Operations Manage**

- Level 3 in Business Administration Apprenticeship Standard

Course Content:

- Relevant regulations and policies
- Business fundamentals
- Professionalism and performance management
- Functional skills if needed

This Apprenticeship will involve:

- Off the job training
- You will also develop your knowledge, skills and behaviours
- You need to have an employer to support your Apprenticeship and be employed in a relevant job role
- The typical length of this Apprenticeship course is 18 months
- This course has multiple start dates throughout the year
