The Surgical Innovations (SI) Division consists of 3 Business Units - Advanced Surgical Technologies (AST), Operating Room Essentials (ORE) and Hernia Care. Within SI we strive to fully understand our marketplace, customers, communities and employees, and we enter into relationships with

**A Day in the Life**
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Territory Manager to join our London Surgical Innovations sales team. In this role, you will be driving sales growth and market share by promoting Advanced Surgical Technologies portfolio to key surgeons and clinical staff within London. Location: London, Surrey and Kent

Your responsibilities as a Territory Manager reporting into the Regional Sales Manager, will include:
**Principal Responsibilities**
- Promotes and sells Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer,
- Accounts to meet or exceed sales targets,
- Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals,
- Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs, and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services,
- Promotes and establishes education of the company's products and/or services,
- Conducts market research including customers and competitors' activities,
- Implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed,

**Customer Management**
- Achieve agreed budgets, focused on sales growth,
- Present, in-service and sell products and services to current and potential clients,
- Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.

**Business Development**
- Lead with multiple stakeholder selling activities within the territory and identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned,
- Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the contacts to be made,
- Working mainly in the Theatre environment supporting and advising surgeons and theatre personnel.

**Support & Training**
- Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals,
- Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff,
- Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales.

**Must Haves**
- A good standard of general education, commercial awareness, and professionalism,
- Experience of working in a busy administrative role,
- Previous theatre sales experience,
- Meetings, Calendar, travel Organizations and Expense report creation,
- Strong computer skills (MS Office and Outlook). Concur, Cvent, Ariba is an asset,
- Excellent Communications and Organisational skills,
- Problem Solving mindset with high attention to detail,
- Proven record to manage multiple tasks and react adequately to changing priorities and last-minute changes in a busy environment,
- Self-motivated and the ability to work on your own initiative,
- Be proactive in the duties of the role and collaborate well with the team to meet deadlines,
- Fluency in English,
- Ability to travel - less than 20% of a time.
