**Merrifield Consultants are delighted to be working with one of the UK's largest children's educational charities to recruit their Partnership lead**

I**f you have experience in working with vulnerable children and building strong partnerships with organisations this would be a great opportunity for you**

This is an exciting and influential new role where vulnerable children are at the heart of this charities strategy and you'll be part of a dedicated team developing a portfolio of new offers centred around the needs of these children.

You'll build and manage all new customer accounts as they develop the charities understanding of how to meet the needs of these customers and the families they support.

**Main accountabilities**:

- Identifying new opportunities and developing new relationships with local authorities, charities, non-profit and private sector businesses. Building our network of contacts across the vulnerable children system. Mapping opportunities as we build and develop.
- Account management responsibility for each new customer relationship, to ensure we are meeting partner and child needs and maximising opportunities to support our ambitions to reach vulnerable children.
- Accountability for delivering agreed results through these customer relationships to support our strategic ambitions.
- Bringing partners' expertise and insights to the existing Development Team to ensure our portfolio of offers meets the needs of customers and beneficiaries.
- Partnering with teams across the organisation to articulate and market new programmes.
- Working closely with colleagues in our existing Partnerships Teams across England, Wales and Northern Ireland, to ensure we are delivering a joined-up offer to existing local authority partners.
- Helping us build our partnerships and marketing plan to allow us to consistently deliver as we grow our reach in this sector.
- Acting as one of our spokespeople, confidently talking about our interventions and ambitions with an excellent understanding of how our offers can drive behaviour change for vulnerable children.
- Working with colleagues across the organisation to stay abreast of the latest developments across the system. Identifying and interpreting relevant market trends that may impact our work in this area, including regulatory, policy and funding factors.

**Experience - you will have**:
An established track record of securing new service agreements or growing programmes, with proven ability to identify and deliver on partnership opportunities.
Account management experience, proven track record of managing multiple partner relationships. Generating opportunities, managing a portfolio of accounts and delivering on agreements.

A deep understanding of the vulnerable children sector.
Experience collaborating with a variety of stakeholders at a senior level, including local authorities, government agencies, charitable organisations, and private sector businesses.

An established network of contacts in the vulnerable children system would be desirable
