A well-established manufacturing company who specialises in heavy duty vehicles are looking to recruit **Production Welder**s **within a **MIG welding **discipline to join their small team based in Leamington Spa on a temporary basis with the possibility of becoming permanent.

The successful **Production Welder**s **would ideally have experience with welding mild steel thickness from 2mm to 15mm.

Duties and Responsibilities of the **Production Welder**s**:

- Production Welding
- Using jigs and fixtures to produce MIG Welded components
- Weld components in horizontal, vertical, and overhead orientations
- Experience in the use of overhead cranes and working at heights
- Welding of mild steels of varying thickness (2mm to 15mm)
- Continuous weld of larger length materials
- Perform quality checks to ensure the product is correct to the drawing.
- Working with hand tools, sanders and grinders
- Perform daily and weekly TPM checks and raising any issues
- Reading and interpreting engineer drawings
- Working to stringent timeframes
- Working to tolerances

The ideal **Production Welder**s** will have experience in:

- MIG welding/fabricator with a good understanding of welding techniques and processes.
- Experience within a production environment
- Experience in working to cycle/takt times
- Knowledge and experience of using oxy acetylene cutting equipment (preferred not essential)
- Experience in the use of overhead cranes and working at heights
- Experience with larger length welds from inch up to feet
- Experience with heavier gauge welding
- Experience with handheld tools

In return, the successful **Production Welder**s **will benefit from a salary of £15.40 per hour for days and £18.29 per hour for rotating shifts.

**Working Hours**:
We have Days or rotating weekly shifts available.

Days - Monday - Thursday 8.00am-5.00pm and Friday 8.00am-12.00pm

Rotating weekly shifts - 06.00-14.30 Monday to Thursday and 06.00-12.00 on Friday and 14.30-23.00 Monday to Thursday and 12.00-18.00 on Friday
