**What will I be doing?**
We’re working to improve the lives of adults here in Somerset - and you’ll be a key part of that. You will be joining the business unit that supports the work of the Somerset Safeguarding Adults Board (SSAB) on a **permanent basis**.
SSAB is a strategic partnership compromising of three statutory partners - Avon and Somerset Constabulary, NHS Somerset Integrated Care Board and Somerset Council - and over twenty other partners that work strategically to seek assurance and develop the safeguarding of adults in Somerset. It is chaired by an independent Chair and hosted by Somerset Council.
Your day-to-day work will involve:
- Minute meetings and distributing to attendees for action
- Raising Purchase Orders using out internal finance system
- Updating actions in case reviews
- Planning service meetings up to 1 year in advance
**What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?**

- Are educated to GCSE level including English and Maths Grade C/4 or equivalent and have significant relevant office experience within an administrative role.
- **Can flourish in a fast-paced environment and prioritise work to meet changing deadlines.**:
- Have working experience using Outlook and Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Are an excellent communicator with a flexible, positive, and committed attitude.

**Anything else I should know?**
The Salary for this role is **£21,189 - £21,968 (pending pay award), working 37 hours per week. We are, however, **happy to consider part time hours and term-time working*.
