We are excited to partner with M&S to find a qualified HGV technician to join our engineering team and play a key role of the servicing and repairing of our large fleet of vehicles in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.

Enjoy a competitive annual salary of **£47,840.00**, with a **25% premium** for shifts worked between 18:00 and 06:00.

Shift: Any 5 out of 7 shifts per week - rolling rota of 06:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 22:00

**You will be responsible for**:

- Maintaining sites HGVs and ensuring the work is completed on time and as per manufacturer guidelines.
- Ensuring all breakdowns and reactive works are completed with high standards and in a timely manner.
- Accurately diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults with the HGV's and across the site.
- Taking proactive measures to improve ways of working.
- Accurately communicating technical information and outstanding work with your team mates
- Escalating issues to relevant managers.

- Maintain vehicles to the highest standards of maintenance
- Ensure all work is accurately documented
- Demonstrate good diagnostic and fault-finding skills ensuring first-time fix
- Have experience working in a fast-paced distribution environment
- Be confident working alone and as part of a team
- Have a keen eye for detail
- Be very self-motivated with a proactive approach to work
